This collection of vintage films takes the viewer on a tour of London, Japan, Iran, Jerusalem, and other locations as they existed at various points throughout the 20th century. Shot in 1920, "Seeing London" offers a rare glimpse of the city in the years prior to World War II. "Iran: Between Two Worlds" captures the Islamic Republic of Iran as it appeared in 1953. The film explores Iranian culture through its art, religion, natural resources, and social customs. "Children of Japan" presents a day in the life of a typical Japanese child, offering viewers a sense of how 1940s life in Japan differed from life in America. Produced by Pan American World Airways, "6 ½ Magic Hours" provides an amusing reference point for how air travel has changed in the years since the Jet Set was first introduced. Viewers of "Screen Traveler: Damascus and Jerusalem" are taken on a journey through Damascus, Jerusalem, and the treasures held within. Sights include The Wailing Wall, the Holy Sepulcher, and the Mount of Olives.
