User Reviews: High Noon (1952)

  • Overall:

    Sound:

    Features:

    A great remake

By Tommy boy  Feb 17, 2009

    Pros: Maria Conchita Alonso

    Cons: none

It isn't often that a re-make is better than the original, but that is the case with this movie. And the role of Helen Ramirez was much amplified from the original. High Noon was one of two movies in the 1950's to even give a serious role to ...an Hispanic actress. In this remake, the role is played to perfection by the lovely Maria Conchita Alonso. If you like westerns, be sure to buy this one. Read more Less
