    FAIRLY GOOD

A bit of a disappointment, but has some good songs as well. This is not one of their best. Some good songs are:1) Happy Ever After (Lead Vocal Barry)2) When He's Gone (LV Robin)3) Secret Love (LV Barry/Robin)It is definitely better than their previou...s album (ESP). Read more Less

Oh, my lord, what a record!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Apr 23, 2001

This is one of the Bee Gees best albums, with no doubt. Not a single track avoids filling the room with all kinds of sounds and, of course, beautiful music. I agree with you other reviewers, it is over-produced...almost. No, as a matter of fact, I do... not agree with you, this is one of the greatest landscapes of sound there has ever been. In album format. Every song is an individual highlight. Highlights are, if not every track, "When he's gone", "Happy ever after", "Dimension" and the magical masterpiece "True confessions" (I can't get enough of that "ooh" intro in the chorus). BUY!!! Beginning in the mid to late '60s as a Beatlesque ensemble, they quickly developed as songwriters and singers to create a style of their own that carried them from psychedelia to progressive pop. Then, after hitting a popular trough, they reinvented themselves as pe... Read more
