    An Amazingly Beautiful Overlooked Album

    This is the album that many fans of the Church have never had the pleasure of discovering.. particularly American fans like myself. Although overall the mood of the record is upbeat and the songs are catchy we never heard any of the singles on the ra...dio or saw a video on MTV. I probably never would have purchased this record if I hadn't heard a friend play it - I wasn't certain that the band was good until Starfish. Twelve years later I still thank my friend for turning me on to it. Let me do you that same favor. If you like their other albums you won't be dissapointed with Heyday. In fact it may become your favorite as it has for me. Read more Less

    Not the best, but good

    An overlooked band, without a doubt. With all the crap that folks dredge up in going "retro" to the 80's, it's a shame that The Curch isn't given much attention. Wonderfully lyrical. Good, singable songs. I do suggest Gold Afternoon Fix...
