Very adorable game that will appeal to some

Pros: very good for some fans and younger audiences

Cons: not good for everyone

A really good classic N64 game, Hey You Pikachu! is a very adorable game for Pikachu fans and good for younger audiences. Well, you end up befriending a wild Pikachu who ends up living with you after a while of spending time with it. This was probabl...y the only voice recognition game I know , but there are others on other consoles like Seaman on Dreamcast, Lifeline on PS2, and even the current DS game, Nintendogs. Control is alright, but it mostly relies on talking to Pikachu for the entire game, and can get a little frustrating ,since the microphone doesn't pick up what you actually say most of the time, all interactive voice games have this flaw. This game isn't for everyone, I would recommend it for fans of Pikachu and the Pokemon franchise, and younger audiences will enjoy this as well, so if you still have a N64, just try it out, but it's pretty rare to find. Good concept, but needs work.

This game has a good concept that, using new tecnology, we can speek to Pikachu, but I found that it is hard for Pikachu to get what I'm saying. It could just be me but I found it is very challenging to get Pikachu to do what I want it to do.:]

The Bad Part: I bought this game when it was new hoping it would be good(it costs $80!...),unfortunately, it wasn't. The gameplay is slow, Pikachu does not listen to you and after a week it gets boring.I'm writing this review to warn other people to ...either don't buy it or rent it.The Good Part: The Graphics are good and Pikachu can be very funny and the idea for this game is original. (If you are a Poke'mon fan you will probably love this game). Read more Less
