Finally, a hard rock album that is just that......

Pros: Good, straight forward rock 'n roll done right.

Cons: A tour has yet to be announced.

This CD rocks from the moment you hit play. Each song has it's own vibe & attitude. Rock & Roll has been in needof a good slap in the face & this is it. Pure, no frills hard rock. They were on "The Tonight Show", with Jay Lenolast night... & played the opening track, "Shut The #@*! Up" with all the conviction & love of new band that's hungryto get noticed. With Nikki SIxx & Tracii Guns both beingin this band, you can't get anymore honest, hard rock thanthat. Both hail from the '80's era & beyond, but those newto these two will see them blend in as a band & will only want to see them live, as do I....a tour has yet to be decided upon...one thing is a fact, live this band will beput rock back into the music scene, which in my opinion isa relief. Go buy this CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!! A fan.........

Pro Reviews: Here Comes the Brides

  • All Music Guide

Evidently, Brides of Destruction's lineup was in flux from the beginning. Word was Adema drummer Kris Kohls contributed for a minute, as did postglory era Mötley Crüe shouter John Corabi. Corabi ends up with a guitar credit in the liners to Here Come the Brides, BOD's Sanctuary debut, but he's long gone from the official lineup of bassist Nikki Sixx, guitarist Tracii Guns, exAll4One tour drummer Scot Coogan, and LA hangabout London LeGrand on vocals. The sound? Bythenumbers Los Angeles metal with slight postgrunge updates. "Shut the F Up" draws on Generation Swineera Crüe, while "I Got a Gun" reaches eagerly for classic Queensr˙che. The Brides play well as a unit, and LeGrand makes up for his lack of nuance with power. The collaboration between Sixx and Guns should make Here Come the Brides noteworthy to their fans, while casual metal listeners will look to the glut of heavy riffing and dedication with occasional detours to the classic pointed bootsandvelvet shirts Los Angeles sound.... - Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide Read more Less

Biography

Brides of Destruction

Brides of Destruction originally started around 2002, when rock veterans Tracii Guns and Nikki Sixx joined forces with Adema drummer Kris Kohls, keyboardist Adam Hamilton, and unknown Los Angeles vocalist London LeGrand in a project called 'Cockstar'. Hamilton quickly left, and was replaced by utility rhythm guitarist John Corabi, who'd served a brief '90s tour of duty ... Read more
