    Pros: Blood And Gore

    Cons: Some Scenes Were Boring

Wow such an old film now, but still scary too some. It was 1989 when i saw this film, OMFG did it scare the be-geezers out of me. Gave me Nightmares for 5 days straight lol. Anyways still a classic film and i still love watching it.

    who's Rubic's cube is this??

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jul 6, 2002

And why is it everytime I solve it, strange ugly people show up?? No wonder why the cube was just a fad..Great classic horror movie, where Pinhead rules the cube. Catch the other cubes(movies series) at part of your DVD collection.

    Unforgettable horror classic

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jul 27, 2001

Clive Barker directed this from his own novel, a dark story of a man who opens a puzzle box that opens the doors to the pleasures of heaven or hell. He is killed and taken to Hell, but when his brother Larry's (Andrew Robinson of "Dirty Harry") blood... re-animates him, he manipulates Larry's wife Julia (Clare Higgins), who was Frank's lover before, to help him regain his body back. Things get creepier when Larry's daughter Kirsty (Ashley Laurence) opens the box and brings forth the sinister Cenobites, who want to take Frank back to where he belongs. I won't say anymore. If you haven't seen this, you are missing out on a dark yet human supernatural tale that will not let you down in terms of terror and gore (great FX by Bob Keen). The DVD is great, with fun feature commentary and interviews from Barker and Laurence, as well as more interviews from Christopher Young (who scored the eerie music) and Doug "Pinhead" Bradley. These two films are a must have to any fan of horror movies. It is so AWSOME. Special effects were outta this world. All I can say is it is a MUST see if you havent already. Words cant say how good the movies actually were. You need to watch for you...rself and get the feel of almost being there with all the characters and feeling the fear with them. You wont be sorry you did. :) Read more Less

    Breathtaking!!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 17, 2000

All I have to say is that this movie is a rare occurance where the movie is just a fraction BETTER than the book! Not knocking the book because I am a huge Barker fan, but the movie went more indepth than the book did. I heavily recommened the sequa...l in all of its "unrated" glory. Both movies are a must have for any horror fan. (Just a side note, if you like short stories, read his Books of Blood. All 3 of them are awesome.) Read more Less

    SCARY GORY SCARY SCARY

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 5, 2000

This has got to be one of Clive Barker's
best horror films. It has an excellent
musical score, good acting, excellent special effects, and an eerie plot.
