    Pros: We Are Not Ashamed, You Loved ME

    Cons: Missy Elliots rap in "Go Ahead". Using the same lyrics, and beat to her Rap Song "WORK IT" Come on now!!!

    I am a Karen Clark fan. I enjoyed her previous albums, they were very good, and uplifting. I have to say of the past couple of albums, this takes third to the previous two. I feel a bit let down with this one. Still a Karen fan though...

    Pros: Great Project

    Cons: Track with Missy Elliott

    We all know Karen Clark-Sheard from her deep gospel roots of singing with her mother Dr. Mattie M. Clark and The Clark Sisters. She first started her solo career in 1997 with "Finally Karen Clark-Sheard" then in 2002 with "2nd Chance&q...uot;, and now "The Heavens Are Telling", which is an awesome project. Karen has been great since she first started her solo career and has continued to soar every since. I love 10 out of the 11 tracks on this project. The first track "We Acknowledge You" which has a nice bouncing groove to it really shows the classic Karen Clark-Sheard flavor. She does all kinds of crazy runs and sings like she really knows and acknowledges the majesty of God. Track 2 "We Are Not Ashamed featuring Mary Mary is a powerful old school track that just blows your mind with the singing done by Mary Mary and Karen. I love track 3 "Glorious", because it's just a fun track, the music and everything on this track are great and just jumping, it's really for the young folks. Tracks 4 & 5 are great worship tracks, and you can tell God was all over both of those songs. I love track 6 "You Loved Me" featuring Karen's daughter Kierra "KiKi" Sheard. They both snap hard vocally, and it's a tight track. From tracks 8-11 she goes into the studio, but still gives you some nice songs such as "Praise Up", "I Owe" (which has the melody and groove of Kirk Franklin's Hosanna, but is still a nice song) "Sometimes", and "Don't Change" once again featuring Kierra "KiKi" Sheard. My only disappointment with this cd is track no.7 featuring Missy Elliott. I really didn't like it and the feel that was supposed to be portrayed by putting Missy on the track wasn't really working for me. That was the only problem I had with this cd, but besides that the project was excellent. Karen's voice and style is amazing and she really belts it out on this project. This cd is really worth having as apart of your Karen Clark-Sheard collection. Read more Less

    This cd is truly Praise and Worship from start to finish. Karen is a power house singer with smooth cords. Karen and KiKi remade Jill Scott's You loved me" hit and Jill should never sing that song again. There are so many singles at could be... put out on the cd you must buy it. No album fullers. ITS A MUST HAVE, SO GET TWO COPIES CAUSE YOU WILL WEAR THE FIRST ONE OUT. BE BLESSED Read more Less

    Let me tell yall about this cd. The cd is so great. Karen has songs for everyboby. She has the "HYPE SONGS" such as, "I Owe", "Don't Change", and "Go Ahead". And also she has the worshiping , soothing songs... such as, "You Love Me" and "The Heavens Are Telling". Mannn..... Words can't express how great this cd is.So you know what that means, you have to go buy it and see for yourself!!!!! Read more Less

    Greatest Yet

    This is a great CD. I have everyone of Karen Clark-Sheard's albums and this is the best!! (and they all are hard to top) This CD is good rather you are a young person, which I am, or whether you be older . It really is great CD.

    I thought this was a wonderful CD. This is a CD that can be played over and over especially when you need some spiritual uplifting. I really like Sometimes and We Are Not Ashamed. The songs You Loved Me, and Don't Change with her daughter Ki-Ki a...re great. When her(Ki-Ki) CD comes out that should be purchased as well. This CD should be apart of your collection.
