Mostly forgotten '60s and '70s harmony cuts mainly from the Philly/Jersey/N.Y. area that will delight those who remember them but never could find them on an album, cassette or CD, while warming the hearts of group harmony fans hearing these regional and local hits for the first time. Features Lee Williams the Cymbals' heartbreaking "Til You Come Back to Me"; the Manhattans' version was unveiled on a Carnival Records' import compilation and is the one you always see, but the Carnival single by Lee Williams the Cymbals is the best. There are more heart-softeners from the Emanons, whose wrenching "One Heart" will bond to your soul, and the Topics' teary "All Good Things Must End" will conjure memories you'd rather forget. But the glorious sounds don't stop there: the Ringleaders, the Notations, the Ethics' wistful "That's the Way Love Goes," the Turks, Soul Generation, Hot Ice, and others will find your sweet spot too.
