Pro Reviews: Hearing Solar Winds

  • All Music Guide

An extended choral work made from Hoomi singing of western Mongolia and the overtone chanting of Tantric Buddhism. Spectacular shimmering surfaces (overtones from clusters of fundamentals beating against each other) and other effects. Some titles are "Multiplying Voices at the Heart of the Body of Sound," "Gravity Waves" and "Rainbow Voice."
