Welcome to MechCommander Gold where you are the leader of a strike force of ~Mech soldiers that will carry out your orders with accuracy and precision. Your decisions are always critical, but that's why your in this position. With a planet under the control of a renegade, an army at your disposal and a Colonel to satisfy you must act fast and think quickly.

The MechCommander Gold pack features the original 30 MechCommander missions, plus 12 new missions for the battle campaign on ~Cermak. Also, 3 new stand-alone missions have been included to spice up the action. More over, there are six new ~Mech designs for you to enjoy as well as a whole slew of new features like better control on the battlefield and an updated way-point system for easier navigation. The easy so use mission builder has also been included so that you can create your own stories, scenarios and campaigns.

During battle, you must control your army of ~Mechs and give them building or attacking commands. Many commands are at you fingertips to use during missions as well such as attacking, destroying buildings, setting fires and many other tasks to fit the situation at hand. From each battle, you must also salvage parts and ammunition so that it can be used in future missions. You can also trade in these parts and points you earn from beating missions for new parts, ~Mechs, weapons, ammo and many other special items.

The game also supports multi-player capability for several formats. Over the Internet and LAN can support up to six players for wild melees and fierce battles. One-on-one play can be accomplished by modem or null modem cable. Internet play requires a TCP/IP connection. To make the multi-player experience even better, 10 exclusive multi-player missions have been included so that you and friends can join up or go against one another in varying styles and locations.
