Natsume's unusual series of farming games comes to Game Boy Advance with the release of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. As in previous titles, players can go about their day as they see fit, with the overall goal being to become profitable while planting and harvesting various crops or raising livestock. After a hard day's work overseeing the day-to-day operations of the farm, players can visit the city to talk with the locals, spend some time fishing in a nearby pond, or embark on various other side-quests and mini-games. Romance is also part of the series, and characters can eventually marry, have children, and own pets. Friends of Mineral Town also interfaces with the GameCube version of Harvest Moon: It's a Wonderful Life, allowing players access to specific events and other bonuses. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

Harvest Moon is a great game for kids.my 9 year old daughter absolutly adores it.she want to be a farmer like the people in the game.the grapics are wonderful.she can see them great.when she has the music turned up,before i knew it everybody who hear...d it alot started to hum it.i caught myself doing it.i still cant belive what a great game it is,but the cost was outrageous!thirty dollars for a game!!!at first i wouldnt buy it for my daughter Brianna.but she seemed to want it bad.i got it as a birthday present for her.and now i dont regret it.but the funny thing is i cant seem to figure out how the people who made the game, dont completely adore themselves.almost every kid i know in the neighborhood, and all my friends kids has the game because of my daughters mouth, and constant talk about the game.i dont mind it that much, but she told me to tell you this."Thank you for letting have my own farm,i like chikens"she insisted on me spelling it that way.i hope that you will make more of the natsume games.thanks alot, Carol Jackson Read more Less
