I wanted the public to view this medical malpractice situation from a different perspective, because the public has a gross misconception about what this medical malpractice problem is.
My books are written as mystery thrillers and not written to be compared with Henry James or any other more literary writer. They're written more or less as current-day entertainment-type novels.... I like my books to be enjoyed by someone who might be the chief of surgery here at the Massachusetts General Hospital as well as by a bus driver in Indiana.
