This is a great introduction to Zen for American Zen students. I have met Brad Warner and can tell you he is a very nice guy, willing to listen, learn, and still walk in his own authority. That's saying something these days. I like his writing st...yle. He is clear, attempts to write to his audience, and is unpretentious. Not a lot of Zen double talk, but a genuine effort to communicate the often uncommunicable experience of Zen. I am just an old fart and was a little put off by the Punk Rock lingo, but I learned alot from this young Master, if you are wiling to set yourself aside, you might too! Be well.
