I wanted to get away from my bulky paper planner and into something that could keep track of all my phone numbers, addresses, appointments and homework assignments. As a full time working adult and night time grad school student, I was looking for s...omething that had all the essentials for my everyday tasks, as well as a few extra goodies thrown in. The Handspring Neo fit my bill. I purchased it directly from Handspring for $169.99 which included free shipping and free carrying case. I played with a variety of different PDA's in the under $200 price range, at Best Buy; and liked the Handspring Neo for it's user friendly functions and suiting my needs. On the downside, the screen sucks in fingerprints, and the case is somewhat slippery. I added a Wright Write to the screen to protect against scratches and that seems to work fine. If you're looking for a good PDA that runs all the industry standard PDA software, has some neat expandable add on's(ie: GPS, Cell Phone, expansion slots, camera, etc), then this is the B&W PDA for you.
