Now you can use just one device - instead of many - to get it all done. The Treo 600 seamlessly combines a full-featured mobile phone and Palm OS organizer with wireless applications like email, text messaging, web browsing and even a digital camera. And you get it all in one device that's so small it fits right in your pocket.

With Treo 600, not only do you have everything you need - it's all incredibly easy to use. That's because everything is totally integrated, so you can check your calendar while talking on the phone, dial calls directly from your contacts list, or take a picture and email it to a friend - without having to jump through hoops. And with new features like the 5-way navigation button and the Favorites screen you can get to whatever you're looking for - all with one hand tied behind your back.

Treo 600's built-in QWERTY keyboard makes entering text and accessing information fast and familiar - perfect for messaging and a must have for email. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. You can also dial a phone number just by typing someone's initials - or their number, using numbered keys. Plus, special shortcuts let you launch up to 25 applications with the press of a letter. But don't let the keyboard's small size fool you. Thanks to specially designed dome-shaped keys, text entry is super easy - even for folks with two left thumbs.

Take a picture, view it on your color screen or send it to a friend. It's that easy. Want to customize your Treo? Just use the SD/MMC expansion slot to add memory, software applications or content. Because Treo 600 runs the popular Palm OS, there are literally thousands of applications you can download and use - like MP3 players, so you can have music wherever you go.

    Treo 600

Pros: Carry a lot of information in one

Cons: built in battery, no auto answer with ear piece

I like the phone, even though its an older model. I picked it up at auction to see if I would like a pda. Well the phone is really well put together ...and as with anything, there is always room for improvement. When you have the phone in holster, an...d ear piece in, I have found no other way than to remove it to answer. I have had a few occations to reset because it locked up. But to have a GPS and word and excell, plus a game or two, reminders, custom rings and voice annoucement (3rd party software). You cant beat it. Compact and I have not had a problem with the battery but I do wish it were not built in. Heck... you can charge from a usb on your computer, and syncc all your information...dont have to pay to have the phone company change your numbers. Speaker phone is nice when you dont want to hold the phone to your ear. Copy and paste your phone numbers from an email... which by the way you can do a couple different forms of emails... altogether the phone is nice. The camera sucks but the phone is overall ... great! Pros: Durability

    Cons: Not enough memory

I have had my Treo 600 for 2 years now, and I have never had a complaint, except for the lack of memory (A memory stick cures most lack of memory problems, but not all). I have used my treo in a medical setting. It has been droped numerous times, I&#...39;ve gone thru 3 different cases, and it still runs great. Even when I upload some wierd shareware that makes it crash, I am able to fix the problem by reseting, or Hotsync. I'm 6'4", and yes the keys could be bigger, but I haven't seen a handheld with big enough keys yet. It is my safety net, and lifeline, it keeps me conected and allows me to take all of my windows documents with me (college study guides and clinical referencess. I look foreward to upgrading to a newer model later on this year. Read more Less

    Handspring Treo 600

We looked at two ways to use the Handspring Treo 600 PDA to collect mail. The Cingular plan ($499.99 with a two-year contract) uses the Palm OS mail utility. It lets you set the number of kilobytes to download per message (you can download the full e-mail later). Unfortunately, though you can see that files are attached to messages, you can't really do anything with them. Palm OS mail is also limited to POP3 and IMAP; there's no corporate mail access. Sprint PCS also offers the Treo 600 ($449.99 with a two-year contract), but it comes with the Palm version of Business Connect, which lets you collect personal and corporate mail. The features are similar to those of Business Connect's mail collection agent, but with the Treo 600 the app is local, so you don't have to deal with an Internet browser. The Treo 600 is sleek and small, with a built-in keyboard. The keyboard is designed to avoid the accidental pressing of two keys at once, though some users might have occasional problems. Read more
