Hanaukyo Maid Team La Verite - Vol. 1: How Do You Do, Master? (2004)

A remake of the original HANAUKYO MAID TEAM series, HANAUKYO MAID TEAM LA VERITE is actually a more faithful adaptation of the manga that both titles are based on. Taro Hanaukyo's parents are dead, and his grandfather has passed the family mansion and wealth to him. Included in that package, however, is the mansion's veritable army of beautiful maids, whose only purpose is to serve Taro. What seems too good to be true turns out to be just that, as Taro finds himself constantly at the mercy of the maids' comedic antics, with head maid Muriel his only saving grace. HANAUKYO MAID TEAM LA VERITE still contains the absurdist comedy and "Harem-genre" titillation of its predecessor, but has complemented it with more sophisticated animation and plotting. VOLUME ONE: HOW DO YOU DO, MASTER? contains the first four episodes of the Animé series.
