I'm sorry to be mean to all you so-called Halloween 'fans' who said this installment wasn't as good as the others. Hey, despite this film being the worst box office performer in the series, the film is still good overall. If you like the series so much, then why are you putting bad misjudgements on it? Gosh!

Halloween 5 was aweful from the beginning. Why would a nurse help bring back a mass murderer in the first place only to get killed! Wonder why, when she's living just outside his hometown! Jamie all of sudden has a mind link to Michael, which develops more questions. Why didn't she have a mind link with him in Part 4? Michael taking off his mask and crying was pathetic. The ending was aweful. While it setup 6, it made Halloween movies less scarier each time!

i liked this one because it continued where halloween 4 left off. one bad part about it was that michael's mask didn't look like the original and his house somehow changed even though nobody's been living there for 10 years. PS: Halloween 3 is a piece of shit

plot: A year after the events of 1988 with Jamie Loyd and Rachel Carruthers is when the 5th installment of the Halloween series takes place. Michael awakes completely a year later after falling down a mysterious mine shaft and finds a homeless person taking care of him, the Shape must continue his hunt to track down Jamie though. The city police ignore the signs of Michael being back, Dr. Loomis tries to persuade Jamie to help him trap the evil killer who is creating another rampage in Haddonfield.

review: Michael awakes from a sleep and somehow Jamie has telekinetic powers to him, she can feel everything. Yet its never explained how, when, or where she acquired the magical powers, she is just having reoccuring nightmares about the Shape. And then Jamie feels that Uncle Michael is coming back to hunt her down again, but she's too scared to do anything. Stay with the other Halloween films in the series if you can and skip over this one. Halloween 5 had the potential to be a great horror movie with Jamie Loyd having telekinetic powers but it ends up as a disappointment in the series. Michael comes to Haddonfield and just does some tideous things till the night, he really is suppose to hunt down Jamie but gets caught up in slaughtering other people. Infact most of the kills had nothing to do with tracking down Jamie, but were just for pure gore and blood for the audience. Don Shanks I give a thumbs down because his portrayal of the Shape was the weakest of the series imo, the walk and movements just weren't right. Annoying characters and 2 cops that act likes clowns don't help this Halloween installment out either. Its not the worst movie but its pretty poor overall, killing Rachel off within the first 15 minutes just wasn't right either. Even though it did have a few moments, I don't recommend Halloween 5.

It´s amazing the way Myers goes through anyone who steps in front of him, in Halloween 4 and continuing in this film, to get Jamie. Don´t miss the end of the film, if you get to see it, you have never seen anyting like it.

...it picks up where the previous left off unhitched and still kickin' ass and carries on Michael's wonderful killing spree, with Dr. Loomis and poor old Jamie (now telepathically linked to Uncle Mikey) around for more. It's still a surprisingly killer continuation of a still steamin' saga.

Hallowe'en 5 The Revenge Of Michael Myers was truly a masterpiece. It was cool the way they made Jamie (his neice) know everything he was doing, and the way she couldn't take, because she was scared. Then when she finally did talk it was for her sister's friend Tina from dying. But she died anyway.

Not as good as 4 but still worth seeing

This film is definitely not as good as Part 4 but it is worth seeing especially if you can watch it right after seeing 4. The actors are good with Donald Pleasance and Danielle Harris being standouts. It's a shame Eddie Cornells character is killed because she added a lot to part 4 and Wendy Kaplan just doesn't cut it in certain parts. It's painfully obvious this one had a different actor for Michael who doesn't have the presence of George Wilbur (parts 4 and 6). Overall though it's a lot of fun!

Good movie. Part 4 is better, but when you watch them back to back it kicks ass. It is the kind of movie that lets you feel the Halloween season. Defenitely worth having in the collection. All Halloween movies are great productions......
