the movie that won't bore the viewer
from the moment the movie started, i just can't take my eyes off the screen. I mean, it's not that it is that great but for me it's one of the few movies that never bore me! i loved watching it and i'd love to watch over and over again.. performance by ja rule was really good and the movie in general is good...i'd recommend you to wacth it and see for yourself.

Love Steven Seagal, even though he is aging, and needs to keep his roles action, learn to go with age in future films as Clint Eastwood has. Nia Peeples is the sexiest thing alive. I loved her in "Half Past Dead." Also "Walker, Texas Ranger." She has a beautiful body, talented and absolutely beautiful!!I want to see more of her!

This movie is horrid. Exit Wounds was good, I thought, and then he comes out with Ticker and this garbage. This movie isn't the least bit entertaining and it's more unrealistic than anything else he has put out. Seagal's a fat slob who should retire and while he's living it up in his retirement, have somebody $hit in his mouth. Johnny Rock rapes retards. Steve and Mike Adams are the banger brothers. Jimm Hewitt is E.T.

Directed with flair by Don Michael Paul and starring martial arts sensation Steven Seagal, 'Half Past Dead' is the action movie of 2003. Seagal plays Sascha Petrosevitch, an FBI agent who goes undercover in an international crime ring to capture the gangsters who murdered his wife. Once initiated, he befriends Nick Frazier (Ja Rule), a young and ambitious thug who is loyal to those he considers family, but holds a short fuse when it comes to cops. When a night job goes sour, Nick and Sascha are intercepted by the FBI and Sascha takes 7 bullets which push him to the brink of death. Miraculasly surviving this attack, both Sascha and Nick are sent to the new and improved Alcatraz where they encounter some very angry terrorists who are after an inmate about to be executed.
'Half Past Dead' is an action movie equipped with an intelligent story line, fine performances by Steven Seagal, Morris Chestnut and Ja Rule, very intense shoot-outs which feature impressive gun play, exciting martial arts sequences choreographed by the masterful Xin Xin Xiong, and a pumping hip-hop soundtrack.
