    I think this unit is fabulous. Better than the Palm. A lot of people I know don't like HP products. Well, HP has the reign on great PDA's and Pocket PCs.

    Pros: Ease of use, Easy to read screens, Outlook works great with my computer

    Cons: Not enough programs out for it

    I was a Sharp Zaurus user until it was dying. I wanted to make sure I could transfer my files and checked out many PDAs. I settled on the 1945 and am very happy I did so.

    Pros: great graphics, and easy to use interface

    Cons: a little pricy, and little help

    my parents an step parents got two of these pda's and after 10 minutes I had all the features figured out. the transcribbler is very simple to use if you can find the help on how to use it. it came with very little pre loaded but if you get word... and excell, it is great. if you call, to get help on how to use it, they dont rely like to, and they make it way too slow.     Pros: easy to record events

    Cons: loses data constantly

    For absolutely no reason... I have last all the data twice. just unplugged for 3 hours... and everything in it is gone. Replaced the battery, keep it on the charger when I don't carry it. In less than two hours, I plug it in again and it wants ...me to do set-up. ALL DATA LOST! LOST!!! It's useless. Read more Less

    Cons: Memory is small,WM 's not the newest version, no camera

    A cute PPC for users who not have so many request. 1945's users will pleasant with its sound and design. With 4 fast acsess buttons (you can change their soft in Control Panel), users can access to Contact, Task,... 1945's connection is Bluet...ooth and USB.     i think this unit is an excellent one since it offers a fair price and and it is very easy to use. the only problem is the lack of software included. it is better to a pda that it includes more software like games, dictionary, etc. but overall, i re...commend this one because it is worth of.     Pros: Awesome PDA, but...

    Cons: HOW COME NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL

    I thought it was just my unit that didn't come with a manual of any kind. I have never heard of spending this kind of money and not getting a manual! Is it because HP assumes that everyone will just automatically know how to operate this device? ... Thats scary.     I'm using an Ipaq PDA for the last year, during this year I have face some problems which get solved by HP technical teem and some problem required to send the ipaq to them to solve it. after the warranty year is finished, I faced a problem with ...the ipaq and when I contact the support they told me that they need to send this ipaq to get repaired and the cost is 390$ for ANY REPAIRS WHAT EVER IS THE PROBLEM since they need to send this ipaq to Europe.I don't know based on what factor 390$ been calculated, which is 65% of the price of the new model of the same series.So if you want a PDA select one which is more reliable from a different brand because during the use of the PDA you can not avoid problems and if the problem happen after the warranty year you will replace it and not to pay 390$ for minor problem.Regards Read more Less
