    I don't see how Compaq thinks people will pay some $599 for this "ok" machine when Casio's E-200 has the same operating system PLUS an itegrated SD AND CF slot in the base unit. I tried the Compaq but that stupid "cradle" needed for PC cards turns i...t into a "small laptop". If you want portable, see the E-200. If you follow the crowd, the Compaq is for you. Read more Less

    Best PDA I ever had.

    Pros: I get to control every electronic in my home.

    Cons: the price, had to pay $699 for it

    I would never trade this pda for another.

    Still like Palm better

    Info lost, Outlook PCS is terrible. Cannot delete old categories, and sinking info is a chore. Palm still wins.

    This is the best display in the Pocket PC class. Needs a good expense tracking software. Still miss some of my Palm software.

    after the palm pilot the best choice

    Not friendly at all !!!!!!!

    This is my third handheld, I already tried the Palm and the sony Clie, the best one for me was Palm.
    The ipaq is not friendly, the battery life is extremly short, my database its been erased too many times, the aplications are not friendly at all.

    Got a great deal- Franklin Covey has them for $350 after rebate and it comes with Franklin Covey's Plan Plus for free. The Pocket PC OS is SO much better than Palm OS. It has word, excel, ereader, hand writing recognition for quick notes. Even has wi...ndows media player. Comes with 64mb so plenty of room for files or mp3's.     You can get this unit now for $325. Circuit city has it for $450 with a $125 rebate.

    I love using it. Note taking in meetings is a breeze!

    Needs a backup battery

    I chose the ipaq because the accessories abound - it is easy to find the needed cables and cases. The screen is a nice large size compared to other Pocket PCs. However, now I am nervous. I had a Casio E-125, and it had a backup battery for when th...e power in the main battery became too low. So now, I will be carrying a cable with me everywhere because I am afraid I will lose data. The upside is that the included software is very useful, the screen is clear and a little bigger than the competition, and yes, accessories abound. Read more Less
