    I don't see how Compaq thinks people will pay some $599 for this "ok" machine when Casio's E-200 has the same operating system PLUS an itegrated SD AND CF slot in the base unit. I tried the Compaq but that stupid "cradle" needed for PC cards turns i...t into a "small laptop". If you want portable, see the E-200. If you follow the crowd, the Compaq is for you. Read more Less

    Pros: I get to control every electronic in my home.

    Cons: the price, had to pay $699 for it

    I would never trade this pda for another.

    Compaq IPaq Pocket PC H3850

    This Pocket PC comes with a big screen, but only limited expansion options.The IPaq lets you store files in unused space on the flash ROM that holds the Pocket PC operating system; they will remain stored there even if the battery runs out completely. This space can hold about 5MB of files, enough to save a backup copy of your address book and a few other vital files in case of problems. Compaq also offers a range of extra-cost add-on sleeves, including one that has a CompactFlash slot and another that turns the IPaq into a GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) cell phone. Read more
