    Pros: Outstanding image quality, generous LCD, and a charging cradle included.

    Cons: So far...none.

    I've owned 3 other digital cameras: Sony, Canon, and Nikon and nothing has come as close to perfect as the HP Photosmart R967. The learning curve isn't bad at all - within an hour I was pretty proficient in all the features. The Panoramic fe...ature is a must! You can take a series of 4 individual horizontal shots each guided by outlines of the previous shots you took to help you take consistent shots. Once you've taken all 4 shots, it automatically "stitches" it together for a perfect panoramic shot. It's definitely worth every cent. Read more Less

    Pros: 2 GB Memory card that holds almost 700 10MP shots

    Cons: Manually shutting off flash causes blur on pictures

    I bought this camera over two months ago and so far I have no regrets. I have taken it out with the family and snapped pictures all day long and still only filled up the 2 GB optional memory card a 1/3 of the way with over 200 pictures. It is very ea...sy to set up shots and allowing the camera to autofocus results in great shots most of the time. The only problem I have found is that when taking pictures through glass (at our local zoo) the auto settings use a flash which then reflects off the glass a lot of times. When I shut off the flash manually and took a picture it resulted in a very fuzzy picture as you must hold your hands still during the long exposure. This is nearly impossible even when bracing myself against a railing. A tripod would solve this but I am not the type to lug around a tripod. Other than that, it is a great camera that takes way better pictures than my Sony camera I just replaced. I would highly recommend the 1 or 2GB memory cards and I bought the optional dock with the extra battery. I took over 150 shots on a single battery though so it does have a pretty good life. Camera is also small enough to fit in your pocket which is great for family outings since you don't have to carry a case. Red eye removal feature is cool. Taking videos and capturing sound is awesome for a camera this size and then you can capture shots from the video and add frames or apply different effects right on the camera (sepia, B&W, caleidescope etc.). For anyone looking for an easy to use high picture quality camera, I would definitely recommend this over anything else on the market. When I went to the store to compare, this was the easiest to use, huge display and one of the lowest priced out there. Read more Less

    While the R967 improves on the R927, the changes aren't groundbreaking. It's hard to recommend the R967 over the R927 when the R927 is still such a capable (and now cheaper) camera. When it comes down to it, if you need the extra megapixels and more successful digital zoom, go for the R967. Otherwise, the R927 remains your best bet. Read more
