Meh, not great
Pros: Battery Life (thanks to lithium, not camera)
Cons: Dark pictures unless in direct sun!
This camera is a nightmare. Do not bother to buy this camera! If you try to take pictures in a well lit and bright gym of your daughter's graduation or game, the pictures are dark. Concerts? Forget about it. For the price, look for something else. Not to mention, the power button broke on it, and they wanted almost what the purchase price is on a new camera just to pop out the power button. I'm a sucker.

I have the Harajuku Lovers version of this camera. So I have to admit I did not want it for its quality in the beginning, I wanted it because Gwen Stefani designed the outside. Anyways, it's a good point and shoot, which is what it's supposed to be for. But I find if I want to do anything else with it, I have to use macro. Sometimes the flash is poor as well.
Love the night flash and the macro features.

For simplicity you can't really go wrong here, for flexibility and getting the most from your pictures you might quibble.
OK, it is a bit basic and a bit elderly but overall I do rate it as a backup or just one to carry around in your handbag. I have taken some good pics with this camera but I am not hugely fond of it for indoor shots, as the flash is pretty feeble.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoI own the Gwen Stefani version
Pros: It very good for my first digital camera. It's easy to use and gives me good quality pictures
Cons: I hate the charger. the wire piece inside the camera to charge got lost. had to replace camera.
I didn't like having to pay 165 to get the camera exchanged for a new one when the charger piece broke. However i paid for it because I really love the camera. I really think it's great.

This camera came in a special boxed deal at Sam's club when I bought my HP laptop, so I didn't shop for it. This is my third digital camera and I thought I would not like a mini sized one until I got this camera. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use, long battery life, quality construction and excellent pictures. I have taken it to car races and vacations and have found no negatives to report. I have a Panasonic Lumix and a Fujifilm camera and this HP camera has become my favorite because of its ease of use and easy to take size. The photos and zoom do not quite compare with the Lumix and its 12x optical Leica optics, but for the everyday shots it is far easier to use and carry about. I highly reccomend it to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive, but high quality digital camera for everyday use. You will not be disappointed!

Cons: Need tripod or VERY steady hand for pictures taken indoors or in darker lit areas
