    Bad deal--do not buy

    Pros: None

    Cons: Many hardware issues, flash does not work consistently, shutter lag, bad quality if used indoors with flash, not easy to focus with view finder

    I paid $312 for this camera and doc a year ago. The tech. support is horrible, because of outsourcing. It takes four to five emails back and forth to get a strainght answer. I have had issues with focusing by using the green brackets in the LCD scree...n. I have to take several photos to make sure that I have a good photo. Camera falls asleep to quickly between shots. Video feature is a joke. The batteries don't hold the charge very long. I have gone through six HiMH rechargeable batteries in one year and I have only taken 1,000 photos, including many test photos to pinpoint the issues. To take good photos indoors with flash is very difficult. The quality of the photos are not consistent. The last email I have received from the tech. support was telling me to buy a new camera, because my warranty expired last month. THIS IS TOO MUCH EFFORT TO HAVE SOME FUN. NOT WORTH IT!     Pros: Excellent pictures, easy to use, rechargeable AA batteries, good price.

    My first digital camera and I was amazed how sharp digital pictures turned out to be. It takes excellent pictures at AUTO setting. What ever I do, it takes great pictures. I like this camera because it uses 2 AA Ni-mh rechargeable(included) batteries... that is great for digital camera and I highly recommend this camera for all purpose picture taking. Good software for editing and support. Read more Less
