    Pros: Set up, price and quality

    Cons: Lack of USB cable

    I bought this printer because I wanted to print my thesis personally, at school they don't accept anything else than laser, but hey it is really beyond my expectations! It was so easy to set up, less than 10 minutes and it was printing already. I...t's fast, really fast, and if you use the Economode status to print, you're way ahead of saving a lot on another toner. I printed almost 3000 pages and it just keeps going... Way to go HP! Read more Less

    This printe is a really great one.. It's fast (15 PPM) with a high quality and moderate price..

With its paper tray flipped up, it folds into a neat box with a footprint that measures only 139 square inches, making it the smallest laser printer we've seen so far. And if it stays closed most of the time, you may not notice the high cost of printing each page. Toner cartridges for the LaserJet 1020 cost $70 each, and HP rates them (using the industry standard) to yield only 2000 pages of output, so this isn't a printer for heavy use. Read more
