great for students & prolly mobile profe

use it for 99% of my word processing and spreadsheet tasks when away from home. excellent for taking notes in class bc small size leaves room on desk for your books and anything else. no messy power cords and the battery lasts 9 hrs+ so it gets me ...through anything but the most grueling day of notetaking and outlining. it fits in all my backpacks and carrying cases and even the inside pocket of my coats and jackets. full suite of pocket version MS Office products allow easy integration with my home desktop pc's Word, Excel, Outlook and so on. All my contacts and my email inbox are available in a few touches of the screen and i have flash card ethernet modem if need to do any heavy up- or downloading while away from home. it boots up and hibernates automatically eliminating need to boot up and shut down. it weighs one pound and the clamshell style case is durable. not for everyone though since i'm sure some would object to a fairly small keyboard. but my fingers are not small and after two weeks i was typing 90% of my regular keyboard speed. not for heavy internet browsing or display-intensive use since the screen is small. but if -- like me -- you do mostly word-processing work, definitely worth considering. • Overall:

    totally cool!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 27, 2001

Oh this thing's so cool. I got it for christmas and I had lots of trouble getting the sync to work. It was really funny, I was going to give up when I just decided to turn it on... and it connected. It was like on b4 and it didn't work... i didn't un...derstand it. But don't connect using the serial cable thing, the usb is easier and faster, so use that. It doesn't come with a usb cable, so u might wanna buy one b4 hand. It doesn't come with notepad which i thought was weird, so i downloaded from zdnet.com and it works really well. You can play mp3s and it has a calender and stuff, it's just cool. If you're thinking of buying it, u should and if u have any questions about it, feel free to e-mail me :) Read more Less
