    Using Word 2000??

    Pros: prints beautifully

    Cons: Does not print cropped pictures; high priced ink cartridges

    I use Windows 98SE with Microsoft Word 2000 The first printer that I got it printed beatifully until I cropped a picture. Then it wouldn't print the picture correctly. It would only print the part I trimmed off not the image that was left in my... preview window.The second printer did the same thing plus I went to print a 10 page text only word doc. First 3 pages were great then it started to print one line per page. I shut off the printer, took it back to Staples, they gave me my money back. Now I'm going to try the 1100d and see if it works better. Read more Less

    Pros: Inexpensive ink refills, quality, value

    Cons: Doesn't make coffee.

    Forget these stores listed and find it on Ebay...mine delivered new in the box was $55 with oem ink cartridges. Many times, you'll find that people upgraded their pc's with bundles from Best Buy or whomever and got a printer they don't w...ant/need so on Ebay it goes. Read more Less

    The Deskjet 5150 prints superb photos at a bargain price.HP's Deskjet 5150 costs only $100, and prints very attractive photos. Printing on glossy paper and using the optional photo-ink cartridge--which costs an extra $25--the Deskjet 5150 produced superb color photos with smooth texture and very sharp detail. A window in the print driver called HP Digital Photography simplified the process, thanks in part to an easy-to-use red-eye removal tool, a slider for increasing contrast, and a digital flash effect for brightening shadows. We also liked the fine detail and sharp focus of the Deskjet 5150's gray-scale printouts, despite their slightly yellowish cast. Read more
