    worst pc ever

    Pros: cheap.

    Cons: came with missing memory. died in less than 6 months. terrible customer support.

    The pc didn't work right from the beginning so we called customer support. We found that it was supposed to have 1G of memory to run and it had only 1 512 chip in it. They told us that they could send us another for $150.. After that they put the... pc on remote control so they could have control of the pc. when they were done "cleaning it out" it wouldn't even boot up. We worked on the pc at home without the use of customer support and got it running. it then ran for about 4 months when the motherboard died. I strongly urge against this pc! it is nothing but a headache... Read more Less

    Don't buy Compaq

    Pros: Cheap

    Cons: upgrade options none

    This is a very cheap computer like my friends say you get what you paid for. My first problem was that I needed to upgrade to a new video card as the onboard video is a joke for the most part. In order to even install a cheap video card I had to upgr...ade the power supply from a 350W to a 500W just so that the card would work. In order to install a power supply I had to mod the case just to get one to fit as there case is only made for there power supply size small. I talked to Compaq and all they could say is that was that this PC could not accept anything else but the stock power supply. If that was not bad enough on top of that in order to upgrade the ram you have to get it from compaq $$$$$ there and it only upgrades to 2 gigs of ram. Read more Less
