    A good system for web browsing and media playback

    Pros: Good price for the features

    Cons: Battery life needs improvement

    I bought this computer when I saw the $500 price tag and thought, "This would be perfect for college classes." I really like the widescreen glossy display and the ability to enable or disable the wi-fi with the touch of a button. The speed ...is decent for web browsing and listening to or watching media, though bootup is a little slow. This system comes with only 512 mb of ram, so putting in another 512 mb would help, considering 512 is the bare minimum for Vista. My biggest complaints are the battery life and the insane amount of 3rd-party software that comes preinstalled. If your going to be using this system for long periods of time, find a wall outlet. I would recommend this system for people who don't need to play games or don't need to run processor-intensive applications. A good starter laptop for a responsible teenager or college-student.
