    HP Accidental Damage Care Pack

    Pros: It is possible one MIGHT get their computer fixed

    Let the buyer use discernment!!! My laptop was just returned 24 days after it suffered accidental damage. Be advised that HP has an entire staff devoted to opposing your claim, looking for any possible loophole to avoid fixing or replacing your damaged computer. For me, it took 2 notes to the HP CEO and calls to their remediation center every day to finally get service. I heard a littany of phony excuses. None of them were published on HP's website or in the contract they sent me. I now have the unit back and it was perfectly repaired. But it took hours of calls and frustration. You'll have to make your own call.
