Pros: Good Booklet, Good Music
Cons: Some lyrics you can't understand and they're not included in the Cd booklet
Basically, it's Michael's greatest hits with new songs on it. I played this to death when I first got it. Really, all you need to listen to is the second C.D because, chances are, you've heard the songs from the first one so many times. It has all the things you've come to expect from Michael. The booklet is amazing and, of course so is the music, espescially his duet with baby sister Janet on Scream. Just wish he would've included some lyrics to some songs (Tabloid Junkie, Mainly) because you can hardly understand Michael somtimes. A must have for fans of Michael who don't have all his CD's from Off the Wall to Dangerous. Even if you did, just get it to add to your Michael Jackson Collection.

This is another powerful album for mj. Typical greatest hits. Don't bother listening ot the first cd if you heard those songs a million times, or if you got those songs on other cds. The 2nd disc was with new material, great material. The best song on this album has to be they don't care about us. That song is genius. Here are stand out tracks

Michael Jackson's fallow-up to "Dangerous" is his best album. This album has 2 disc with his greatest hits and his new album. The greatest hits are very good and his new album also good. Michael shines on new tracks like "Scream", "You are not alone", "Money", "Tabloid Junkie" and "Earth Song". On this album, Michael brings his talent at his best.

HEE HEE!!! OOWWWW!!! If you're thinkin' bout buyin' this CD it don't matter if you're "Black or White". This album has 15 original hits and fourteen great new songs that only our Michael could produce. A great job done on redoing "Come Together". Also the first duet with Michael and Janet. This album deserves a full FIVE STARS!!!!!!!

awesome you get a nice 52 page booklet with tons of pics and info and you get 15 new songs! including a great cover of Come Together, and disc 1 which contains some of his greatest songs, however I wish Leave Me Alone, Smooth Criminal, and Jam would have been on there but oh well

I was not a big fan of MJ just two weeks ago.
I listen more to bands like Nirvana and Pixies
and stuff like that. But I got my hands on this album, trying to understand why MJ was (and still is), so popular... Now I understand.
Micheal is someone very special, and a true genius, to say the least. Songs from the Thriller album are amazing, and the other songs too. there's only a couple ballads that I don't like. And there is Billie Jean... Not even Jimi Hendrix had wrote a better song than that. I still haven't listen to the second CD, but for this greatest hits, I'll give 4stars and a half.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoGreatly underrated
Although "HIStory" was an incredible money making gimic it is still a great Micheal Jackson album. Real Micheal fans like myself that wanted the new material on the second disk are roped into buying a greatest hits album also because of the double LP format. Personally I think Micheal should've just came out with a greatest hits album and released "HIStory" as a seperate LP, because I didn't want the first disk because I already had those albums. But now that I've gotten that tidbit out of the way I must say Micheal is amazing on "HIStory". My personal favorites are, the R. Kelly written and produced, "You are not alone", the title track and Jackson's cover of the beatles classic "Come Together". This is a great album, very profound lyrics and hard beats as well as soft melodious ballads. I'd definitely recommend it.

Well im completly gobsmacked**The first c.d is jammed with michaels classic songs which rocked the world for many decades,these include...."Beat it"(voted best song of 80s),"Bad","Black or white","Thriller","the way u make me feel" and soooo much more,ull be surprised at how many of these u know.But the best comes with the second disk,which has to be his best work ever,never has he been sooo honest,angry,emotional on an album,u really can feel the anger in his vocals.The album kicks off with a song that broke all records in america"SCREAM",which finally brings michael with his sister janet jackson.There are a few very strong and up tempo songs such as "This time around""2 Bad""They dont care about us" and my favorite"D.S"which is about a cop that tryed to get michael behind bars during the child abuse year.It also has many classic ballads like"u are not alone""Earth song"and the emotional"stranger in mosco".Basically this is the best album music has ever known!!!Buy it now****
