It Grew On Me! Decent Beats!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 28, 2002

I didn't like it at first yall but I always liked "Keep It Thoro". But see, I didn't like 'Murda Muzik' because the album that came out in the stores wan't the real album. 'HNIC' however was! Except for maybe one song. Songs like "Delt With The Bull*...***" and "Who U Rep" are masterpieces. I like that midnight murderous sounding hip hop with the static. Havoc is one of the best producers in the game. My other favorites are "You Can Never Feel My Pain", "Genesis" and "Gun Play". If you didn't like it at first, go listen to it again. It's better than a lot of albums out.By the way "Keep It Thoro" is a perfect 10 song, it ranks up there with "Come Clean", "Unbelievable", "Shiznit" and "93 Til'Infinty". All perfect 10 songs. GREAT

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 10, 2001

Ok, first of all people need to get over the fact that Havoc only produced a few tracks on the album, people thats why it isn't a MOBB DEEP album it's a prodigy album his first shot at proving himself in the game as a solo campaign. Prodigy actually ...helped produce many of the trakcs himself and the beats are very Queensbridge if you ask me. They aren't the typical Mobb beats because, well, they're better. No one can lace a track like P and no one can come close to the emotional content that he spills on every track..as he says, "I put my life-time in between the paper's lines", and he does just that. His gangster lyrics have a really great smoothness and his songs reflect that on beats that seam almost custom fitted for him. "Keep it thoro" is probably my favorite cut but my own production style and tendensies vear me toward the title track "H.N.I.C" with it's almost classicly composed melody and light beat, it seams like an almost perfect song. This is an album everyone should have and may recieve my album of the year award. Read more Less

    More Murda Muzik!!!!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 14, 2000

I respect "P" for still doing it for Queensbridge and NYC. The brotha still keeps his pen and pad blood stained to generated more street anthems. I'm from BK and it took this kid from the Dirty South to turn me on to "Shook Ones" Yo, these brothers ...mean business. So if your appreciate street hip-hop then cop this CD"1" Read more Less

    A Mobb Classic

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 5, 2000

Prodigy's solo joint is mad tight, easily one of the best albums of 2000, along with Scarface's Last Of A Dying Breed and Jay-Z's The Dynasty. It brings back the banging beats that were lacking on Murda Muzik, thanks mostly to The Alchemist. And Pro...digy keeps the lyris tight. Peace and One Love. Read more Less
