Another in the shelfbusting sequence of Shadows budget compilations, Guitar Legends is nevertheless of interest in that it doesn't dwell upon the most obvious cuts. Spanning the band's entire EMI career, of course it has its fair share of '60s classics, with "FBI," "KonTiki," and "Atlantis" certainly forming an irresistible entrée. But latterday joys like "Cavatina" and "Song for Duke" are also included, while "Guitar Tango" singlehandedly justifies the collection's title as though any justification were needed.
