    Rebecca Demornay looks the best

Rebecca Demornay looks the best in Guilty as Sin (1993)Rebecca made Guilty as Sin so interesting. Acting as the best lawyer (Jennifer Haines) in the city, she wears that corporate business lady suite and makes intelligent statements in court and her... body languages made everybody awake. No lawyer I have seen in my life in any movie was as beautiful, intelligent and sharp as her. Read more Less

Other than what has been stated in the synapse (right on target), very little can be said except......... this is THE movie Don Johnson was born to star in! I've seen a few movies Don has been in, and would say I didn't like his abilities much, but t...his movie is a whole other ball of wax. His arrogance in his personal beauty and intelligence is dripping with smugness. It is such a display that the audience cries out in unison for somebody to "get" this guy. Mr. "GQ" and "the murdering svengali from Hell" all rolled into one. His dashing good looks and evil demeanor leave the viewer very torn between jealousy and loathing. It is well acted by all (Jack Warden is such a disarming natural actor), vicious in its delivery, and filmed in a close fashion that allows the viewer to really become personal in the events unfolding. There are a few moments when Rebecca DeMornay's character could use a bit of buffing to be more realistic, but not too bad.Again, kudos to Don Johnson in the roll of a lifetime that few could have really, really succeed in as well as he did. The part was custom made for Don."Guilty as Sin" gets a 94 in its genre in my book. I have 504 movies (448 on DVD / 56 on VHS) and want this one on DVD, but only have it on VHS, as it's not on DVD yet. This one's a keeper.RichRich 2741@aol.com Read more Less
