Puerto Rican tropical act Grupo Manía was formed in the early '90s by brothers Héctor, Edwin, and Oscar Serrano, along with Alfred Cotto. The group released its debut album in 1993, showing the result of previous experiences when they played with Willie Berríos and Leny Pérez. In 1994, Serrano was replaced by Elvis Crespo, and they soon recorded Explotó El Bombazo. While that record was achieving gold status in Puerto Rico, Grupo Manía was becoming a major act in the local music scene....
