Ground control is a sweet game. I love how much time and effort they put into this game. The graphics rock. You can zoom in real close and see every detail of the tanks and ground. The tread marks in the ground are awesome and the dust the vehicl...es kick up look so real. I also like the view mode. It's the first time I didn't just get the overhead view. In ground control you can move the camera all around the battle field with just a few keys. The game play is pretty good too. I like the scenarios and the challenges there are. The only beef I have with the game is that sometimes it gets boring. By far the best strategy is to have two artillary terrodynes sit back behind a wall of medium to heavy terrodynes and bring in the fighter planes and let them get just close enough to see the enemy base and then unload on them with the artillary. That's the reason it gets boring because if you don't want to die you have to just sit back and let the big boys handle it from afar. Then when all of the big stuff is taken out you rush in there and mop up.The sound is awesome also. You can hear the bullets bounce off of the metal and when the artillary shells go up you can hear there shell pop off. It is just amazing.The replay value is great. Get this, when you beat the game with the terrodynes and now it turns you into the people you were fighting and you have to fight back. So the replay value is awesome because you have to learn a whole new scheme of things.I deffinatly recomend this game to anyone. the Tutorial is great and lets you jump right in the game.
