  • All Music Guide

Three years after London released The Best of the Hothouse Flowers in the UK, Rhino in the US issued Greatest Hits in 2004. It's essentially the same collection as The Best of, containing the same artwork and the same 14 tracks as that compilation, adding the singles "One Tongue" and "An Emotional Time" from 1993's Songs from the Rain to give that album a greater presence. It improves the collection, making it a more respresentative overview of the band's entire career and a worthwhile retrospective and introduction.
