"Greatest Hits" shouldn't be limited to songs that chart. Tim has a number of fantastic songs that should be on what one would assume is a collection of his best work. "Refried Dreams", "Renegade" come to mind, but here I am specifically referring to my personal favorite McGraw song "Not a Moment Too Soon". This album seems to be simple gratuity and a bridge to an even weaker album in "Set This Circus Down". Tim once was one of the reasons I began to listen to country, but slowly I'm seeing him turn into a Country Music Backstreet Boy.

No, his voice is not perfect, but that's what makes him so endearing. The parts of the songs where he get whiny are the best parts. It's the emotion not the execution that makes his songs beautiful.
And I just want to add that he is an EXCELLENT role model. I don't have kids, but I pray that he is still around when I do. What young, gorgeous man do you know that is so dedicated to his wife and children? That makes him more attractive to me than anything.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoFive Stars
I don't buy many CDs, but I do own this one. Furthermore, if I could keep only one of my CDs it would be this one. It is simply the best CD I own, and it contains some of the best music available today. This album is worth every penny.

It's an sweet CD from a great singer. My favorite song of his is Please Remember Me. This CD is jamm-packed wit' great songs and anyone reading these reviews should buy it.

I love Tim McGraw! I think he is the best country artist out ther right now! I have every one of his CDs. I definitely recommend this CD. It is constantly playing in my CD player!

I have been a fan of Tim McGraw's since 1995. So when his greatest hits cd came out, I knew I had to buy it. It has great songs on the cd like Tim's signature hit "Don't Take The Girl" and the controversial "Indian Outlaw" which are great songs!! It also includes a few good dancing tunes like "I Like It, I Love It" and "Down On The Farm." I like Tim McGraw's choice of songs that he sings because they are full of feeling and he sings them with all his soul!! Tim McGraw is definately the country music KING!!
But I think Faith Hill's "Let's Make Love" should have been left off this cd!! For MANY reasons!! Most of all to leave room for other SUPER songs like "Everywhere" and "Refried Dreams" to name a few!! But let's face it for all of the GREATEST HITS to be on this cd it would have needed to be a BOX SET of 2 cds!!!
But this cd is a MUST HAVE!!! It is my favorite cd in my collection!!
Although I am still wishing for a LIVE CD that might include Tim's version of "The Joker" and "No Son Of Mine" and maybe even a "Nobody Knows" duet with wife Faith Hill.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoHOT!
I know an album is good when I can listen to it all the way through. I could listen to this over and over again w/o getting tired of it! This is probably the best calaboration of any other country artist greatest hits. It has all of his BEST songs and then some! It's just a great album.

The song is great. But I think the reason it didn't get put on this album is because it didn't do as well as it should have. Most artists put songs on their greatest hits albums for how much airtime they had on radio stations and how much money they made for the artist. But you're right, it should have been on here. :)

Refried Dreams is a great song, and it was one of his first hits! I wonder why he did not put it on this album. He really should have! Damn...oh well
