This well compiled career retrospective was released in 2000 following the consistent chart success of his fifth studio album and its string of hit singles.

This album nicely collects those hit singles, plus the hits and the best of his four earlier recordings. 'Greatest Hits' is an excellent document of his growth as an artist and his ability to try different styles, such as the signature song 'Are You Gonna Go My Way?', the classic ballad 'It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over' and the somewhat overlooked experimental uptempo gem 'I Belong To You'. I'm going to tell you something about this CD. It has marvelous songs from Lenny's previous albums. Hits like: "Are You Gonna Go My Way", "Fly Away", "Rock & Roll Is Dead", "It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over", "Mr. Cab Driver", "American Woman", "Always On The Run", "I Belong To You", "Let Love Rule", "Black Velveteen", and the previously unreleased single "Again". All of them amazing songs. But, you have to figure out that it's just a "Greatest Hits" Album, it's only a selection. Lenny has other big hits like: "Freedom Train", "I Build This Garden For Us", "Fear", "Does Anybody Out There Even Care", "Be", "Blues For Sister Someone", "Empty Hands", "Flower Child", "Fields Of Joy", "More Than Anything In This World", "Stop Draggin' Around", "What The... Are We Saying", "Is There Any Love In Your Heart", "My Love", "Sister", "Circus", "Beyond The 7th Sky", "Tunnel Vision", "Thin Ice", "Don't Go And Put A Bullet In Your Head", "Resurrection", "If You Can't Say No", "Thinking Of You", "It's Your Life", "Straight Cold Player", and "Little Girl's Eyes". So, if you want to have all of his hits, yous should get all of Lenny's Albums, 'couse there all great.

I agree with "Lenny Lovers" comment. Enough already - what is your problem? Open your minds. I have always liked LK's music in the past hearing it here, there, at party's, etc. However, I never purchased any of his CD's. After hearing his recent single "Again" (I absolutely love) I was inspired to buy his Greatest Hits CD. It's awesome. I am a fan with diverse musical interest ranging from R&B, Pop/Club/Dance, Classical, Classic Rock, Easy Listening, to SOME country (Faith H., LeAnn R.). I think Lenny is truly talented. He has a great voice and produces/composes his music. Oh, I must not forget that his handsome looks and sexy body add to the appeal. Although, he is sexy in any style I love the short hair. Ooh baby.

I think that Lenny deserves respect for the music that he makes. As I read some of these reviews, it sickens me that you people cant appreciate good music but pride yourself on dissing others' talents. That's jsut a sign of jealousy. Lenny Krazitz ia gifed individual and if you dont agree no one is forcing you to listen to his music. He has never and never will a sell out. He's truly talented and handsome to top it all off.

If you enjoyed any of Lenny's big pop hits (Are You Gonna Go My Way, Believe, Fly Away, Let Love Rule etc) then buy this CD and prepare to become a fully-fledged fan.

After buying 5 and this, I'll most likely try out some of his older albums now. I've never heard most of the songs on this album, but they're all great (other than the newer songs, the only one's I've previously heard were Rock And Roll Is Dead and Are You Gonna Go My Way... which both are awesome tunes).
