    This is the best Greatest Hits album I have ever heard. Every track a classic from Track 1 to Track 17. From the funk of "Lets Groove Tonight" to the smooth melodies of "Reasons" and "Fantasy" to the beats "Kalimba", with a remake of the Beatles "G...otta To Get You into My Life" . This is the quintesential EW&F collection. From 1971 thru 2001 30 of hits. You can't go wrong the CD. Read more Less

    This band put out great music album after album that its unfair to call this their "Greatest". If you've never listened to EWF, I would recommend you start with this album.

    If you're just getting into 70's funk / soul / disco but don't want to waste your money on an album that may disappoint, then I definitely recommend this great album. Beautiful harmonies, excellent bass and guitar work, and down -right funky ass per...cussion make this a 70's must-have. Read more Less

    Almost Perfect Single Disc Collection!

    Pros: Packaging, linernotes, classic songs, sequencing

    Cons: Failure to include key tracks & different (superior) versions!

    This collection is almost perfect, and with a band like EWF, it's hard to include EVERYTHING, but this would've made 'Greatest Hits' a 5 star effort - 1. Substitute the studio version of 'Reasons' for the classic LIVE VERSION... (8:22) from 'Gratitude'!! 2. And include BOTH 'Love's Holiday' & the 'Brazilian Rhyme' (interlude) for a MUCH BETTER CD!! I did this, and there's more than enough time on a CD, so EWF fans can make the perfect CD to take out in the car or at work. Missing tracks aside, 'Greatest Hits' is a sound investment, and I love the linernotes & packaging. Maybe Legacy will get it right next time, but why wait! Chaka's World Read more Less

    I grew up listening to this group. Anything they wrote was great to listen to. The way music was. Nothing today can compare. Once again, Fantastic.
