    A Lost Classic

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Feb 15, 2007

Pros: Great Beats, Funny, Creative, Fun, Historically Important

Cons: A Bit Dated, Product of Its Time

It's a shame this album has been out of print for so long. There are so many hits on it that it's almost a "best of" by itself, and they're great songs. Doug E. • All Music Guide

Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 collects all of Doug E. Fresh's biggest hit singles -- including "La Di Da Di," "Keep Risin' to the Top," and "The Show," adding a couple of new tracks produced by Sean "Puffy" Combs for good measure. It's a concise and entertaining retrospective that sums up his career very well.
