    The 5th Dimension was hugely successful from 1967-1972 and this collection of greatest hits is living proof of that. All of their big hits are here like "Wedding Bell Blues", "Last Night I Didn't Get to Sleep at All", "Up-up and Away", "Stoned Soul P...icnic" and "One Less Bell To Answer". This is a good purchase that also has some of their smaller hits too. The 5th Dimension was known for their heavenly harmonies, good melodies and superb musical accompaniment. This would be a great addition to any music collection! Another good purchase is "5th Dimension: The Master Hits". The songs are pretty much the same but the album has been re-mastered for a sharper sound. Either way, you can't go wrong with these collections! Read more Less

    Until Rhino issued its anthology, this was the best hits package for the 5th Dimension, a group that in its peak was among the best at doing lighthearted pop with a soulful foundation. Certainly, they weren't a hardcore RB or earthy singing group, but they did put some punch into songs that were really kind of silly otherwise, like "Wedding Bell Blues."
