Pros: All of the hits-good picture of a musical career

    Cons: none come to mind

  • All Music Guide

All of Petty's biggest hits collected, along with two new tracks -- the excellent "Mary Jane's Last Dance" and a cover of Thunderclap Newman's "Something In the Air" -- on one essential disc. Everything from "American Girl" to "Free Fallin'" is included, with sixteen tracks proving that Petty is one of the best rockers of the past fifteen years.
