    ý watched the movie 5 times in theatre... The color that director use, the beatiful greens, the stars were perfect, all of them, gwyneth is wordless brilliant... The soundtrack that I have is also perfect... Don't miss that movie...

    Hi! i´m Armeniaes & forgetting about compare myself with any of the best films criticizers i need to express my own idea about this film.I must to say that this is one of the best film i´ve never seen in my life. Yes, of course i´m a romantic gir...l but that´s no way to tell me that i cannot citricize this film, yeah! that´s rigth ! it´s got little mistakes- all films have them- & i can say that somebody could think that kind of love has never been exited;but it´s a film not the reality.Only one more thing let´s seen,that´s the best to do after speak about it...hugs for everyone ARMENIAES Read more Less

    Great Expectations is a brilliant film, visually stunning, and with cunning use of music and sounds to further establish the mood of the visual. However cliche it might be with a story about love for someone you can't have, and all the passion such ...a longing incites, there is nothing cliche about how the story is told in this movie, where Finnegan Bell (Hawke) has to sublimate this passion into his art. A film not just about love, passion, and dreams, but also of how unrequited love and creativity go together in their cat-and-dog relationship. A classic of the 90s, and a definite must-see!     I saw part of the movie first in TV. Then went to rent the video tape. Saw it 3 times in 2 days. Then bought its DVD. Stunning love story. "Wildly Romantic" is an accurate comment. Ethan is so charming! Great chemistry between Ethan and Gwneyth. The...y are all excellent!If you like love story -- Buy it, you won't be regretful. Read more Less
