Pros: Most of the songs

I love this CD!! I saw the movie, and wanted the soundtrack!! John Travolta was a real swell-lookin dude back then!! Me and my friends dance to this CD all the time!! Greased Lightening has got to be my most favorite!! Though, I gotta admit, some son...gs, I skip over. No need to mention names, they are just boring. (None of the first 7 songs) So if your a person who likes a good musical, liked Grease, or just wants some dancin music, then this is the CD that's just right for you!! Read more Less

the soundtrack of Grease is just as lively as watching it on television. the way they sang the songs is so, so, ...... breathtaking. the songs are up beat and make great sing-alongs. you could use the songs for a party, or even at a graduation ceremo...ny (or reception, etc.) well what ever you use the sound track for it'll bring it to life!!!! The saddest thing about this soundtrack is thinking about what it might have been. The original Broadway Score was superior in every way, and the film's cast was very appealling; if only the original score had been included instead of the numbers wro...te specifically for the movie; "All Shook Up" is 10 times the musical number "You're The One That I Want" was. The original score was clever in imitating 50's mega-hits, "Rock & Roll Party Queen" could have *been* a Ricky Nelson number, and most people couldn't probably tell the difference between "Born To Hand Jive" and "Willie and the Hand Jive"...why they had to cut so many superior numbers for the inferior CRAP that this movie soundtrack is infused with is still beyond me. I've probably watched Grease over a 100 times on TV and on video and soon I'll see it on DVD as well. I've listened to the soundtrack about a hundred times as well. Know what? I don't think I'll ever get sick of the music from Grease. I really en...joy it. I have always been hooked on it and I'll be hooked on it until my dying day. In a way, it's part of my life.
