    ok the stoty line or plot of the game may be a bit simple but so what ! grandia 2 has very nice grafics and sound but the real beauty of this game is that it is so much fun to play !!It has one of the best battle and magic systems i have ever played.... Its easy to learn but challenging enough to keep your brain stimulated. This game also works very well with a 4 or 6 button game pad compatable with windows 98 or windows xp. I highly recomend using a micosoft side winder game pad with the usb plug in. Read more Less

    This is the best rpg ive ever played.the battle and majic system make this game so much fun to play!they got this game right !!take a trip to grandia.Its a trio youll be glad you took!

    As mentioned in a few other reviews, this is sort of an RPG reincarnate from some of the old school stuff. The plot was weak but tolerable, the graphics stemed from great to poor depending on the view, etc. Overall the game was good enough for me t...o finish, but all and all there is dire need for improvements.     This rpg was the most fun rpg ive ever played... it had a great story behind it... id have to say that this is my favorite game

    Sometimes new RPGs with the style of old school in them are good. Example, Wild Arms 3. Sometimes this old school attempt is just plain bad. Which is the case of Grandia II. Compared to the likes of real old school titles Grandia II doesnt have any r...eal spark. Lufia 1 & 2, the Phantasy Star series, Breath of Fire, Landstalker, Shining Force 1 & 2, Chrono Trigger, Zelda; A Link to the Past, Final Fantasy 1, 2, & 3; these are all old games that are much more fun to play than this one. If youre young and a newbie to RPGs play Grandia II, enjoy it. But for old vetrans of the video RPG, chances are youve already played this game inadvertantly a million times since the early 90s on. Not the worst game, but certainly not great either. What a let down for a ps2 title. Read more Less

    why is the a psx2 game?

    I was very disapointed by the lack of quality graphic design in this game. The redeeming quality however is the wonderful and very unique battle system. I thought that the plot was a bit 2 dimensional as well
