    Pros: Beautiful, Christ-centered Music

    I'd just like to say that this CD is wonderful!I bought it mainly because I discovered thatTata Vega was featured on it - I'm probablyone of her biggest fans. After listening tothe entire CD (& watching the video, whichI also highly recommen...d - it gives you the"full" flavor of the evening) I was thoroughlypleased with how well it was put together &what a beautiful job they did. Everyoneworked together to make it all happen!I highly recommend this CD to anyone! Youwon't regret purchasing it. My favoritesong on the CD is Jonathan Butler's "FallingIn Love With Jesus". It's absolutelymarvelous! Looking forward to The Gospelof Jazz, Chapter 3!! Anytime soon Kirk? Read more Less

    Pros: When you have all that talent in one room, it must be great, so I will say the music was superb

    Cons: It should have been longer

    I enjoyed this MASTER PIECE very much, I have the CD and the DVD, and I can tell you it is a taste of heaven. I remember back in 2003 I was encouraged by "GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JAZZ", being a musician (singer) myself and was just getting in J...AZZ, I was apart of a competition with a JAZZ number and I had a terrible night one of the shows nights, I was so discouraged. The Sunday Morning from the hotel room I turned on the T.V. on BET, and behold they were showing "GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JAZZ", so you see this is not just a CD for me, this is also an encouragement. Kirk Whalum out-done himself when he did this. I am truly blessed by it. Read more Less

    Falling In Love With Jesus

    This song always moves me to tears as it expresses how I feel totally and completely where the Lord Jesus Christ is concerned. Every hour, every minute, and every second I am falling more and more in love with Jesus. The other songs on this CD blesse...d me as well...but if for nothing else but this song alone, it's a must have. Read more Less
