    Another Barrage of Hilarity

    On gorgeous, guttermouth returns with their usual, irreverent, hilarious style, and aggressive musical talent to produce yet another punk classic. Viva America is a truly patriotic homage that in my opinion should replace the star-spangled banner as ...the national anthem. And while so many bands follow formats like feeling they have to sing about love, aggression, revolution, and such things, instead we are left with "the dreaded sea lice have come aboard, with Mark singing about getting a boat and sailing the seas with a raging case of lice. All in all, if you can take your ears off of some of the funniest lyrics ever written, you can appreciate the entire album as a truly talented work of comedic and musical genius. Read more Less

    this cd is awesome. the best song is the dreaded sea lice have come aboard. theres nothing better than a song about being on a boat and contracting lice

    Seems like I've had this CD for ever... its an instant classic... Guttermouth is a wicked band with a wicked sound... but it, steal it... listen to it..

    Good, but not the best.

    This Guttermouth Album is good, some catchy bratty harmonies, a bit to hard and not really fitting to Guttermouths newer style, a step backwards for tha' mouth methinks, anyway, its good, but could've been better, (and longer!) , oh and by the way H...igh balls and power up are the best two songs on the album, dont let that jerk put you off them.     Its good all round and has a much harder sound than guttermouthss other albums. Some of the songs are reminiscint of guttermouth's earlier music, which in my opinion is their best up until now.

    After Musical Monkey, which was a bit "basic", with its Pop songs (like Lucky The Donkey & Lipstick), welcome back to the real punk style of Guttermouth.I rate it 4 stars, because the 2 last songs, 'Power-up' & 'High balls'; suck and they are for Go...rgeous, what Under The Sea was for Teri Yakimoto and Perfect World for Musical Monkey.Finally, if you like Musical Monkey but can't stand this one, then you're not ready for Punk music... so keep listening Americana :) Read more Less
