Very cool game.
Somewhat hard to follow at first, but one you really get into the game it becomes second nature.
Like my title says, its kind of a cross between Pokemon & Zelda.

This has got to be one of the best rpg's ever made with amazing graphics, brilliant sound, long lasting lifespan and easy control. With Golden Sun 2 coming out next year, the series will grow even better. Zelda will have to do brilliantly to outdo this.

This is a great RPG/adventure game that, like most other RPGs, is very addictive. This game will keep you busy playing for a while. It took me about 30 hours to beat it, which included collecting the rare "djinni" creatures which make your guys more powerful and I also took time to level my guys up to an unbearable level. The graphics are great, and after you beat single-player, you might want to battle your friends who own this game. If you don't have any friends with this game, of course you can battle monsters in battle-mode one-by-one. Sometimes you will have to face groups in battle-mode, but they are easy of course. After you beat the game there will also be a sequel for you to keep your eye out for. This game is a must buy.

The story only stop half way and does not complete... Give people the feeling exactly like watching the "Lord of the Rings" as the game is good in some part but no conclusion to the first part... Character rather lame and story lines is very perdictable... i had play the game over again for 4 time and i am able to complete it with level 20 using about 20 hours... It is sort of disappointment compare to the Zelda series... Overall worth to play but does not worth the money in buying it... It is far too expensive...

This game has really good graphcs its easy to save and u dont loose items after death it reminda me a little of pokemon and it sucks walking back and forth but definetly addicting!

This game is faultless in every respect. The graphics are second to none, the gameplay is superb and the music is so sharp over headphones. It took the longer to complete Golden Sun (doing everything) than iyt did to complete Final Fantasy 9 (4 DISKS!) and golden sun is only on one puny cartridge smaller than a custard cream!

The graphics are pretty good for the Gameboy Advance and the characters are addictive. The Elemental Djinn are nice additions to battles, and are very original... I loved the music, which usually fit the mood of the game. The boss battles are never too hard or too easy, which is a great challenge to the player. There are tons of puzzles to the game that adds to the fun.
The controls are pretty good. Though, it was kind of annoying how the menu button can be opened by pressing the "A" button. You use it to talk to people and search items, too. Of course, it won't be too anoying once you get a certain ability that allows you to see which pots and barrels have something in it or not.
One bad thing was that the game was too short. But what can you expect from a handheld portable system? Not too many games on the Gameboy systems are ever too long. Another was that the game lacked alot of eomance in it... Owing to the fact that the main character, Isaac, doesn't say anything other than "Yes" or "No."
All in all, you should really buy this game. It is, in my opinion, one of the best Gameboy Advance games out there. I can't think of a better way to spend money on a Gameboy Advance game.Was this review helpful? Yes - No
